Seat Belt Data Collection November 2024- Training
Overview
Seeing Machines exists to get people home safely by developing and commercialising driver monitoring system technology and products applying eye and face tracking technologies. Data collection captures video, audio and subject metadata (i.e., eye features, age, height, ethnicity etc) to support the development and improvement of our technologies and products. We use real human subjects to train our algorithms and develop the most precise machine-learned solution.
In-vehicle detection study:
This data collection requires 1-3 people aged 15* and over. Participants do not require a driver’s license as the data collection will be performed in a stationary vehicle. - Applicants should remain attentive to notifications regarding their booking from Pike13. In the event that we need to modify or cancel your booking due to any technical reasons, we will notify you as soon as we can, and may contact you via the email address and/or contact number that you have listed in your Pike13 account.
- To ensure we capture sufficient diversity in our participants across sex, age, height, ethnicity etc., we may consider demographic requirements in our participant selection process. Your online booking is an important initial step, but we may need to make some cancellations to ensure that our diversity requirements are met (i.e. if we have an oversupply of some requirements and not enough of others). If this occurs, we will notify you as soon as we can. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this matter as we strive to ensure the best possible experience for all participants.
