Referral Policy
Overview
Seeing Machines develops vision algorithms that rely on data we capture through
our data collection programs. To achieve
the highest quality results we need to ensure we capture sufficient diversity
of participants and other factors. For
participants that means we need diversity of age, ethnicity, height, weight and
sex. Other factors include head and
face appearance factors such as eyewear, facial hair, makeup, hair style,
jewellery, clothing as well as environmental conditions. Some of these factors we can control; for others
we rely on our participants.
Introducing Referrals
Seeing Machines will provide a $20 eGift card to you for each person you
refer who satisfies our referral criteria for a given project and successfully completes the data collection.
Referral Process
If you wish to refer a participant:
- you will need a Pike13 account. If you don’t have a Pike13 account, you will need to create one. We will use the contact details in that account to facilitate payment.
- check the eligible referral groups for the particular project(s) in Pike13. Ensure that the participant(s) matches one of the listed requirements.
- send us an email to request a unique referral code for the project. You can refer multiple people using the same code for a given project.
- invite your referral (the participant) to sign up and book a data collection through Pike13 and give them your referral code.
- provide us your referral code at their data collection.
- successfully complete the data
collection.
- we will provide you with a $20 eGift card in the same manner we do for data collection payments.
Notes
- Seeing Machines employees and immediate family members are not eligible to receive referral payments.
- You will only receive a referral payment for referring new participants (i.e. a person who hasn’t previously completed a data collection).
- Participants can only nominate one person as the referrer (i.e. they can only provide one referral code at the data collection session)
- You may refer as many people as you like.
